BAPTIST STUDENT UNION LEGACY CAMPAIGN
Transforming The Next Generation
Thank you for the opportunity to invite you to join us as we prepare for an exciting new season of growth and transformation at the Baptist Student Union!
This past fall, we officially submitted our plans to build a 100-unit apartment complex to expand our community and student impact at Missouri State University. In October, the city of Springfield approved our request to rezone our current property to combine residential and commercial spaces with our faith-based ministry. With that approval, it became clear to us that God is preparing our ministry for something much bigger than a building campaign.
Over the past 93 years, BSU has impacted more lives than we can begin to count and it is truly an honor to invite you to be a part of what God is doing in this new season.
JOIN US IN 2020!
In preparation for what is to come, our goal is to raise a total of $410,000 per year to become a fully funded ministry. Our most pressing need to date is to increase staff support as we seek to provide examples for our students to follow just as 1 Cor. 11:1 says, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”
BSU is committed to 1) community, 2) service and 3) discipleship, and today, our students only have access to one full-time staff as an example to follow. Our focus is on increasing our team to a minimum of two male and one female full-time staff leaders to transform the lives of students at Missouri State, OTC Springfield, and OTC Richwood Valley.
